Project Management Basics

This one-day no-nonsense training focuses strictly on the basics of project management.  It provides the framework and key techniques needed to manage small projects or large work packages.  In this course, we make extensive use of the learning-by-doing method (a short case study, followed by a project simulation).

  • Initiating the project: the one-page project charter
  • Planning the project: work breakdown structure (WBS), schedule, project risks
  • Managing project execution: project simulation

To facilitate achievement of course objectives, we use the unique Prosource-developed Practical Project Management Roadmap as a practical guide for project initiation and planning.
