Prosource will be piloting for the first time in Belgium the newest SEI course CMMI Level 2 for Practitioners. The course is a perfect follow-on to the "Introduction to CMMI v1.2" course. While the "Introduction to CMMI v1.2" course focuses on understanding the model and practices, "CMMI Level 2 for Practitioners" focuses on how to implement the practices in order to achieve the goals. It is an excellent way to gain the skills to lead your organisation to Maturity Level 2, and to prepare for a SCAMPISM appraisal.
The pilot will be conducted from 22-24 September at the Prosource Academy by Mary Beth Chrissis and Nico Marien. Mary Beth is the author of the CMMI reference book "CMMI® Guidelines for Process Integration and Product Improvement, Second Edition". This creates a unique opportunity to discuss all possible questions about CMMI directly with the author.

This two-and-a-half day course provides students with an understanding of the concepts necessary for achieving and maintaining CMMI Maturity Level 2, including the relationships among CMMI model components. The course is composed of class lectures and exercises presented in a style that creates dialog among students and instructors.
